Information about Excluded Coverage Destinations
Before traveling, it is important to check that your policy is valid for the destination you have chosen. We recommend carefully reviewing the information provided below.
Remember that you must ensure that your travel insurance covers the country/countries you are traveling to before purchasing it.
1. Alerts Issued by the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office
The guarantees in our insurance policies are not valid for trips to conflict zones or to destinations that the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office includes in the list of countries to which travel is not recommended Click here
We advise you to always consult the Travel Recommendations published on the Ministry's website and carefully read the terms and conditions of the insurance policy . This way, you will know if there are any coverage restrictions that may affect your trip.
2. Countries with Economic Sanctions
Our insurance policies do not provide coverage or benefits if doing so violates any applicable sanctions, laws, or regulations of the United Nations, the European Union, the United States of America, or any other applicable economic or trade sanctions.
Due to this position, we do not provide coverage in the following countries and territories:
- North Korea
- Iran
- Syria
- Russia
- Belarus
- The occupied territories in Ukraine (Crimea, Sevastopol, Luhansk, Donetsk, Kherson, and Zaporizhzhia)
3. Alerts on Specific Destinations
Destinations in the Middle East
Due to the ongoing conflict and war affecting the Middle East region and neighbouring countries, our insurance policies cannot provide coverage for trips to the following destinations while this situation persists:
- United Arab Emirates
- Yemen
- Islamic Republic of Iran
- Saudi Arabia
- Jordan
- Syrian Arab Republic
- Oman
- Pakistan
- Bahrain
- Israel
- Lebanon
- Iraq
- Afghanistan
- Qatar
- Palestinian Territories
- Kuwait

We will update this information in accordance with Government advice and it becomes possible to purchase insurance policies, for or to travel to these destinations again. Destinations: Russia, Belarus, and Ukraine
Due to the declared conflict and war in Russia, Belarus, and Ukraine, our insurance policies cannot cover any trips to these destinations while this situation persists. We will update these pages when this situation changes and it becomes possible to purchase travel insurance for or to travel to, these countries again.
